Our Mission
Kindness as a Mission
Holiday Drive and Cakes for Kindness
During Josh’s fight the support we received from the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters (CHKD) and community was immense. Not only did they provide us with blankets and toys for Josh, but being the holidays, gifts for his newborn sister, little brother, and decorations for his hospital room.
In an effort to express our gratitude we started an annual holiday drive that collects blankets, toys, and holiday decor. Our goal is to help provide the comfort and kindness we were afford during our stay. The quantity ensures not just support during the holidays but through out the year.
Additionally, during the month of April we encourage random acts of kindness and build “Cakes for Kindness” kits which are non-perishable birthday kits for less fortunate families in the community.

Community Support
Memory Garden and Kindness Squads
Josh would maintain a memory garden in honor of a teacher that passed at his school. After losing him the garden become overgrown. His cousins organized, with the help of the JCP, a group to revitalize and rejuvenate. Bringing together individuals from all times of Josh’s life to include his scout troop, family and friends. It now honors them both.
When faculty founded “Josh’s Kindness Squad” at his school to help spread joy it jumpstarted our revolution. The squad led to the first Kindness Day initiative on his birthday that eventually lead to us founding the non-profit in his honor. Now we support multiple Kindness Squads throughout the district with hopes to found more.
A Sprinkling of STEM
For the love of old “tech”
Josh’s love for technology, both present and past, inspired us. How could we share this with his friends and classmates? Based on his slogan when running for school historian we came up with the idea of “Josh Peck’s Museum of Old Tech” sharing his passion and collection. On display daily at his school
We hope to spread his love of antique technology further in the future through various similar initiatives.
